Bernard-Henri Lévy

The Art of Philosophy is Only Worthwhile if it is an Art of War.

  1. Dear Sir,
I am sorry that I am writing this in English rather than French (not that I can not but I could express myself better in English), I am an Iranian Woman, an educated woman, who perfectly understand the brutality of the Sekine’s case and the difficulty she is going through in order to save her life. But let me be frank how come that among all women that are imprisoned in Iran you only see her???????? There are many women who are in prison these days for being human rights activists or being women rights activists for defending the rights of their fellow citizens (for trying to save people like sekine!) and in your intellectual world there is no name of them none of you bothers themselves to even see them or write a note in their defense unlike Sekine (which no one is sure whether she is guilty or not) they are not guilty!!! they are on hunger strike and their life is in great danger…. but you only care for Skine??? without them you would not be even aware of a case like Sekine’s one or many others, they are not allowed to even meet their families, they have to bare long jail sentences and…. for defending democracy, human rights, freedom of expression and so on….do you see them? can you hear their voices too or you only hear what Iranian government wants you to hear? do you really think they are going to kill Sekine? no they are killing others in silence and she, for saving her life is acting like a cover. she is covering up for them this is the price she is paying for her freedom and you are so easily played with. if you listen properly you can hare the voice of men and women in Iran in poisoned for asking for their rights. Think again there exists people with more need of help than Sekin to be supported. Nasrin Sotoode ( a lawyer in Iran ) is dying out of hunger strike. hear her voice, out of the cover made by Iranian Government.
